About the Project
The Go2Grove project is an initiative implemented under the Erasmus+ programme (Action KA220-VET) and aims at the education and integration of Ukrainian refugees through their involvement in olive cultivation and olive oil production. The project responds to the need to find employment for refugees and at the same time to address the labour shortage in the olive growing sector in the Mediterranean EU countries.

The project objectives
- The development of an innovative vocational education and training (VET) programme to enhance the skills of Ukrainian refugees in olive cultivation and olive oil production.
- To support VET trainers by providing them with a specialised training programme to integrate refugees into the training process.
- The creation of an online platform with self-assessed quizzes in order to provide self-regulated learning opportunities.
- The piloting of the programme through practical training and work-based learning activities.
- The wide dissemination of the results and the enhancement of the impact of the project at local, national and European level.
